• S3 Transfer Accelaration leverages Amazon CloudFront's globally distributed AWS Edge Locations.

• Used to accelarate object uploads to S3 over long distances (latency)

• Transfer accelaration is as secure as a direct upload to S3

• You are charged only if there was a benefit in the transfer times

• Need to enable transfer accelaration on S3 bucket.

• Cannot be disabled, can only be suspended
